Avocados are also known as Alligator Pear or Butter Fruit. It is the fruit of the Avocado tree known as Persea Americana mostly grown in the warm climate. They could be pear-shaped to round with colors varying from green to black. The most popular variety of Avocado is Hass Avocado.

Avocados are referred to as a Super Food because of its health benefits.
